Partnership

At Stockley Academy we want to provide you with easy to access information. This section of our website brings together resources and policies that are designed to enhance our partnership with parents and carers.

Success in education relies, at least in some part, on the involvement of parents and carers. If students see that their parents and carers are enthusiastic about education, they are far more likely to view their education in a positive light, and be more receptive to learning.

Homework

Studies in Britain have shown that children who are supported by their families with homework are likely to perform significantly better in academic examinations at 16 years old and beyond than those who do not.
