An Ofsted inspection in October 2008 stated,

“Good progress has been made in improving the Sixth Form curriculum through the introduction of new academic and vocational courses. Numbers are increasing in the Sixth Form, retention rates are rising and results have improved significantly".

The Academy offers a fresh and exciting learning environment which specialises in Science and Technology and our staff and students have the best facilities available to them.

We are committed to providing courses, opportunities and resources that will enable our Sixth Form students to achieve success, whether that be in higher education or full time employment.

We create an atmosphere in which hard work and discipline combine to provide our students with the determination and motivation to succeed. Students will gain much from their time at Stockley and in return we expect a high level of commitment and endeavour from them as well as very high standards of personal appearance and behaviour.

Our resources include: classrooms designed to take advantage of the latest techniques and teaching aids, a suite of eight science laboratories, advanced technology suite with graphic design technology, Lego Education Centre, multimedia language centre, video editing suite, large drama studio, excellent music suite with advanced electronic music, recording studio, radio station and individual practice rooms.

We will help you reach your academic potential, give you support and advice to follow courses in further education, and provide you with opportunities to gain in self confidence by being involved in a whole range of activities.
