GCSE results are in and Stockley Academy once again celebrates another record-breaking performance

Stockley Academy is celebrating following the release of the GCSE results today. The number of students who achieved five A*-C grades including English and Maths rose significantly from 26% to 33%, surpassing the National Challenge floor target. The percentage of students achieving five A*-C grades also rose exponentially to 76% from 44% the previous year.

Once again Stockley Academy has demonstrated that a great deal of hard work coupled with determination and support produces excellent results. Stockley Academy students are celebrating an A-E ‘A’ Level pass rate of 98% and an A-C pass rate of 62%.

We have created an Academy where everyone is valued and respected, we teach a wide variety of subjects- vocational and academic and our specialism is Science and Technology. Most importantly we believe that learning transforms lives, we achieve this in partnership with our students, parents, carers, staff and the wider community.

Stockley Academy has been officially recognised by the Specialist Schools and Academies Trust as one of the most improved schools in the country over a three year period.

Added proof of our improvement came in January 2010 when we received the great news that already 22% of our Year 11 cohort have achieved 5 A*- C grades in English and Mathematics. 27% passed English and 32% passed Mathematics at grade C or above and 13 students gained straight grades A's in English.
