Welcome to Stockley Academy
I am very pleased to introduce you to our website and invite you to browse through the pages. The website will give you an insight into the academy, our teaching and our students achievements. However, there is no substitute for the real thing and we extend a warm welcome to you, so come and visit us to see our wonderful building, meet our excellent staff and see the amazing opportunities and activities that are available at Stockley Academy.
Our aim is to provide the best environment for learning and teaching and give our students the best start in life. We want to inspire our students to get the most out of their education by making learning enjoyable and by setting high standards.

We have created an Academy where everyone is valued and respected, we teach a wide variety of subjects- vocational and academic and our specialism is Science and Technology. Most importantly we believe that learning transforms lives, we achieve this in partnership with our students, parents, carers, staff and the wider community.
Stockley Academy has been officially recognised by the Specialist Schools and Academies Trust as one of the most improved schools in the country over a three year period.
Added proof of our improvement came in January 2010 when we received the great news that already 22% of our Year 11 cohort have achieved 5 A*- C grades in English and Mathematics. 27% passed English and 32% passed Mathematics at grade C or above and 13 students gained straight grades A's in English.
